Who are we?
We are a large, friendly badminton club of about 45 members with several teams competing in the Coventry league. We play with feather shuttles.
Where are we?
Barkers Butts Rugby Club, Pickford Grange Lane, off the A45 just outside Coventry. Here is a map. There is plenty of parking available.
When do we play?
Mondays - 7pm to 10pm
Wednesdays - 7pm to 10pm
We have three courts, two of which are used for match play during the season (September to April).

Please read this note from the Club Secretary:
Thank you for showing an interest in our badminton club. We are always looking to recruit new members, both junior and senior. However, we are a thriving club with a large number of members and a restricted amount of court time. If you wish to attend as a guest during the September-April season, we request that you contact the Club Secretary to arrange a suitable time.
We also operate a summer club which runs on Mondays and Wednesdays from April until September, where guests are always welcome to drop in.
Christmas Tournament 2009
An enjoyable evening was had by all on the 21st December. Due to a few call-off's, the evening ended sooner than anticipated, but thanks to Dave Prior for offering to stand in, then stand down again as the situation changed. The same goes for Barry Moorcroft who stood down to keep the numbers even when Diane fell ill.
The event was split into 2 leagues, with a play-off between the top 2 ladies and men from each league to decide the finalists. Sharon comfortably won the ladies title over Janet Youett, whilst Jerry scraped through by one point over Vic. For the first time, we were able to accommodate a 3rd place play-off, which was won by Linda and Ross, over Jackie and Dave McKeegan.
Thanks to everyone who brought food, all of which was ably co-ordinated by Toni.

Teams Captains: Jerome/Rose/Andy/Paul/Wendy and all the players within those teams and the stand in players who all contributed in making it a successful season - well done everyone.
